CES has Green Saturday

17Jan06

As you might expect, I have lots of mixed feelings about CES. The design oriented, geek in me *loves* it. I’m frequently checking out engadget, gizmodo, and the like. But the green loving ecotype in me thinks “oh great, here come more devices that are going to end up in junkyards somewhere, even though their spare parts could be reused by developing nations or recycled…

So its a good thing that CES decided to include “Green Saturday” again this year.. Though from what I’ve seen, it looks like it wasn’t as eminent as in previous years, but I could be wrong.

If you’re like me and have a ton of gadgets and want to get rid of them at some point in time, you can find out more information about e-cycling them here.
