What a horrible, horrible, idea

26Jan06

Are they kidding? I mean… Ok, someone had to come out and make a statement about how we’re driven by mass consumerism… So maybe they were well intentioned to start with.. right? well… I just don’t know what they were thinking when they invented these horribly repugnant garbage bag fashion items… jackets, bags, and shirts. U-E-G actually refers to the Italian phrase “Use e getta” which actually translates to “Use it and throw it away”. Great. Just what we needed…

The clothes are actually “guaranteed” to deteriorate. Hopefully, their unsightliness will prevent them from becoming a phenomenon in Europe, or anywhere else for that matter.
