Now live on WordPress… Just have to clean up a bit.

18Jan07

Dang. That was easier than I thought. Everything works, now I just have to spruce up the place a little bit. It’s a little bit like moving, when you change blog management systems. Once you come to the new one, you just have to make sure that everything is clean and in order.. and you need to paint the place. I’m still working on perfecting the template… But for now, you can read all the old YakShaving content (if you had any desire to do such thing).

I’ve used WP before, and I’ve even suggested it to other people who’ve asked what blog software they should use. I had no idea that WP was so much better than MT or I would have got on this much sooner. Clean user interface, much more responsive, and the user community looks like it pumps out more useful plugins.

There are some comments missing, I realize.. I’m sorry, but I went on a mass SPAM comment deletion rampage… and I might have inadvertently got rid of some legitimate comments.  But now, it should be better.  A lot better.
Please remember to update your feedreaders!  (Sorry, I tried to keep the same feed address, but realize its just too much of a pain to switch now.

Site looks great dude! Where’d you get the header picture?

I took it. I’m a designer, remember? haha.. Although that’s not my best picture, per se. I’m actually writing a little PHP rotation so I get a random picture every time it opens up. I wonder if I can do that within a stylesheet…. Hmmmmm :)

I see how you are. As soon as I get up to date with the latest MT, you jump to Wordpress. Always one step ahead of me, Bhoopathy. Well, at least your comments work now ;) It’s looking good man.
