Despite the fact that this week has been crazy (Accounting midterm, tons of work due for communication design, sketches for product design, and BOP work piling on, Ido on my case about content for this year’s Design research conference)… I’m excited about getting away for a little bit, albeit for a work-related research conference in New York.
I’m going to the Indian Business conference at Columbia University, and visiting friends in the big apple.
The speakers that are coming to this year’s CIBC are extraordinary: Dr. Shashi Tharoor (fmr. UN undersec-gen), Vikram Akula (of SKS Microfinance fame), Jagdish Bhagwati (professor and author, In Defense of Globalization), and Sanjiv Ahuja, CEO of Orange. How awesome.
Will get back to blogging soon, I promise. If nothing else, I’ll post my impressions of the speakers and their content when I get back.
Ciao!
