I need a haircut!

我想剪头发.

My hair is getting bushy. And tough to maintain, because the water here is kinda strange. I think it’d be better to have shorter hair while going around some of the rural areas in China, so I want to get a haircut.

Hmm, if I decide to go to Tibet, maybe I should get my hair shaved completely? (no, maybe not).

Anyway, I’ve been looking around for places to get a haircut here in Shanghai, and it’s a little scary. I know I don’t want to end up in some random brothel getting a “massage”,when the sign on the door says haircut.

When Kevin and I first got here, we were walking around and were accosted by several people offering us “massages”. Sure, “massages”. I know what that means! Of course, if it were a real massage, I wouldn’t mind so much, I could actually go for that right about now.

So, I’ll let you know when I find a place that has real haircuts. And I’ll send you a picture of me getting one, if I can get the guys to take it for me.
