Easily the worst software experience ever.

06Sep07

Parallels Desktop for Mac is the bane of my existence. It oft prevents me from entering into my Windows XP virtual machine– and in doing so gives me the gray screen of death (equivalent to the blue screen in Windows).

For those that run Macs, you know how absolutely RARE it is to get a gray screen. Yet, if I ever want to reproduce one, all I need to do is hit up Parallels!

I’m switching to VMWare Fusion for Mac, and never have I been so excited about making a switch from a piece of software that I’d maintain is as essential “plumbing” as an operating system.

Bye Bye parallels!
