Please do not allow yourselves to be brainwashed by this mass media drivel. (Not just the article, but the episode)

Look, I realize there’s a tremendous likelihood there will be a generation gap between us.

You probably watch um.. what’s it called, again? Oh right, “television”.

Maybe you don’t know there’s anything better since there are so many choices so you stick to prime time or the news. Stuff like 60 Minutes, the O’Reilly Factor, the Situation Room, or no–Lord have Mercy–that NTAC, Neil Cavuto.

I know that in many ways, you’re trying to run your business that you’ve worked at for several years and you’re just trying to understand how to “maximize your resources” a little better. But have a little empathy, respect, and understanding for where we’re coming from, huh?

Many of us do work hard, and I don’t understand why you stereotype by age. If the culture of the enterprise is moving towards a meritocracy, embrace your role and let us embrace ours. Provide us with guidance, experience and your wisdom and let us do our thing.

Ohh right.. as an astute commenter to the signal vs noise entry that this emerged from pointed out… Let’s also remember your gifts for us: inadequate social security, extreme partisanship that prevents us from making any meaningful changes, diminishing soft power and tainted foreign reputation, national debt, and a ruined environment.

Maybe, just maybe, we have some answers where you weren’t able to provide them. Are you willing to listen?

    NTAC is totally going on my list of frequently used acronyms (or “LoFUA”) And yes, that 60 Minutes piece is pure crap. Like every generation hasn’t said the same thing about the one replacing them, and believed that this time it really was true. Get off my lawn you damn kids.
